UNCTAD Progress Report on Investment Facilitation Now Available

The UN Conference on Trade and Development has been tracking progress in the implementation of investment facilitation measures, with particular emphasis on information access, regulatory transparency, and streamlining of administrative procedures. No fewer than 169 countries now have digital information portals for (potential) investors. The UNCTAD Investment Policy Monitor Special Issue can be downloaded here. Among other news, it refers to ongoing negotiations at the WTO with the goal of coming up with a draft Agreement on Investment Facilitation for Development (IFD).
